【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoversmechanics-basedrequirementsforcalculatingcharacteristicvaluesforthestrengthandstiffnessofreinforcedstructuralgluedlaminatedtimbers(glulam)manufacturedinaccordancewithapplicableprovisionsofANSI/AITCA190.1,subjectedtoquasi-staticloadings.Itaddressesmethodstoobtainbendingpropertiesparalleltograin,aboutthex-xaxis(FbxandEx)forhorizontally-laminatedreinforcedglulambeams.Secondarypropertiessuchasbendingaboutthey-yaxis(Fby),shearparalleltograin(FvxandFvy),tensionparalleltograin(Ft),compressionparalleltograin(Fc),andcompressionperpendiculartograin(Fc)arebeyondthescopeofthispractice.Whendeterminationofsecondarypropertiesisdeemednecessary,testingaccordingtootherapplicablemethods,suchasTestMethodsD143,D198oranalysisinaccordancewithPracticeD3737,isrequiredtoestablishthesesecondaryproperties.Reinforcedglulambeamssubjectedtoaxialloadsareoutsidethescopeofthisstandard.Thispracticealsoprovidesminimumtestrequirementstovalidatethemechanics-basedmodel.1.2Thepracticealsodescribesaminimumsetofperformance-baseddurabilitytestrequirementsforreinforcedglulams,asspecifiedin.Additionaldurabilitytestrequirementsshallbeconsideredinaccordancewiththespecificend-useenvironment.providesanexampleofamechanics-basedmethodologythatsatisfiestherequirementssetforthinthisstandard.1.3Characteristicstrengthandelasticpropertiesobtainedusingthisstandardmaybeusedasabasisfordevelopingdesignvalues.However,thepropersafety,serviceabilityandadjustmentfactorsincludingdurationofload,tobeusedindesignareoutsidethescopeofthisstandard.1.4Thispracticedoesnotcoverunbondedreinforcement,prestressedreinforcement,norshearreinforcement.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThemechanicsbasedmodelmaybedevelopedusingSIorin.-lbunits.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
