【摘要】:Thistestmethodisameasureofthesolubilityofasphaltintrichloroethylene.Theportionthatissolubleintrichloroethylenerepresentstheactivecementingconstituents.Note28212;Thequalityoftheresultsproducedbythisstandardaredependentonthecompetenceofthepersonnelperformingtheprocedureandthecapability,calibration,andmaintenanceoftheequipmentused.AgenciesthatmeetthecriteriaofSpecificationD3666aregenerallyconsideredcapableofcompetentandobjectivetesting/sampling/inspection/etc.UsersofthisstandardarecautionedthatcompliancewithSpecificationD3666alonedoesnotcompletelyassurereliableresults.Reliableresultsdependonmanyfactors;followingthesuggestionsofSpecificationD3666orsomesimilaracceptableguidelineprovidesameansofevaluatingandcontrollingsomeofthesefactors.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthedegreeofsolubilityintrichloroethyleneofasphaltmaterialshavinglittleornomineralmatter.Note18212;Thismethodisnotapplicabletotarsandtheirdistillationresiduesorhighlycrackedpetroleumproducts.Formethodscoveringtars,pitches,andotherhighlycrackedpetroleumproducts,andtheuseofothersolvents,seeTestMethodsD4,D2318,andD2764.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thetextofthisstandardreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionstatementsaregiveninSection7.
