【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoverstheformatandcontentofdigitallyrecordedvoicedatafilesandtheiridentifyingdata.Theobjectistoenabletransferbetweenindependentdigitaldictationsystemsandworkstations,regardlessofmanufacturerandprotocolsforensuringreliability.Thisspecificationdoesnotcoverthetransmissionofvoicedatafilesandtheiridentifyingdatawithindigitaldictationsystemsandworkstationsortheirtranscriptionintotextfiles.Thisspecificationmaybeappliedtoeitherthetransmissionofdataovermedium-tohigh-speeddatacommunicationnetworksortothetransmissionofdatabyrecordingon,andlaterplayingbackfrom,magneticoropticaldigitalstoragemedia.Itdefinestheblockedstreamofdata,calledamessage,whichistransmittedoveranetworkconnectionorrecordedonastoragemedium.Itdoesnotdefinethehardwareorsoftwarenetworkprotocolsorstoragemediaformatsneededformessagetransmission(forexample,seeISO8072-1986)ortheformatsusedtostoredatainternallybythesenderorreceiver.Sincesomestandardizationinstoragemediaformatandnetworkprotocolswouldhelptopromotetheexchangeofdatabetweencomputersystemswithdiversehardwareandsoftware,itissuggestedthatreadilyavailableuniversalmediaandformatsbeusedfordataexchangewhenpossible.Anyconsiderationsregardingthesecurityofthedigitaldictationfileoritscomponentsasdefinedhereinareoutsidethescopeofthisspecification.Suchmeasuresasencryptionoffiles(eitheratrestorintransit),authenticationofusersororiginators,assignmentandcontroloffileaccesspermissions,andbackuporrecoveryoffileswhichmaybenecessarytomeetinstitutionalpoliciesorgovernmentalregulationsarenotaddressedinthisspecification.GuidanceforsecurityofdictatedhealthrecordscanbefoundinGuideE1902.
