【摘要】:Providestechnicalinformationandspecificationsoncold-formedsteeltrussconstruction.TheAmericanIronandSteelInstitute's(AISI's)CommitteeonFramingStandards(COFS)hasdevelopedthisStandardForCold-FormedSteelFraming-TrussDesign[TrussStandard].Thedesignofcold-formedsteeltrussesforloadcarryingpurposesinbuildingsshallbeinaccordancewiththeSpecificationfortheDesignofCold-FormedSteelStructuralMembers[Specification]exceptasmodifiedbytheprovisionsofthisStandard.ThedesignofsuchtrussesshallalsobeinaccordancewiththeStandardforCold-FormedSteelFraming-GeneralProvisions[GeneralProvisions]wherespecificallyadoptedbyasectionofthisstandard.ThisStandardshallalsoapplytomanufacturing,qualitycriteria,installationandtestingastheyrelatetothedesign,ofcold-formedsteeltrusses.Thisstandarddoesnotintendtoprecludetheuseofothermaterials,assemblies,structuresordesignsnotmeetingthecriteriaherein,whentheydemonstrateequivalentperformancefortheintendedusetothosespecifiedinthisstandard.
