【摘要】:Theresistanceofleathertoabrasion,asmeasuredonatestingmachineinthelaboratory,isgenerallyonlyoneofseveralfactorscontributingtowearperformanceordurabilityasexperiencedintheactualuseofthematerial.Whilex201C;abrasionresistancex201D;(oftenstatedintermsofthenumberofabrasioncycles)andx201C;durabilityx201D;(definedastheabilitytowithstanddeteriorationorwearoutinuse,includingtheeffectsofabrasion)arefrequentlyrelated,therelationshipvarieswithdifferentendusesanddifferentfactorsmaybenecessaryinanycalculationofpredicteddurabilityfromspecificabrasiondata.Thistestmethodprovidesacomparativerankingofmaterialperformance,whichcanbeusedasanindicationofrelativeend-useperformance.Theresistanceofleathertoabrasionmaybeaffectedbyfactorsincludingtestconditions,typeofabradant,pressurebetweenthespecimenandabradant,mountingortensionofthespecimen,andtype,kind,oramountoffinishingmaterials.Abrasiontestsutilizingtherotaryplatform,double-headtestermaybesubjecttovariationduetochangesintheabradantduringspecifictests.Dependingonabradanttypeandtestspecimen,thewheelsurfacemaychange(thatis,becomeclogged)duetothepickupoffinishingorothermaterialsfromtestspecimensandmustbecleanedatregularlydefinedintervals.Themeasurementoftherelativeamountofabrasionmayalsobeaffectedbythemethodofevaluationandmaybeinfluencedbythejudgmentoftheoperator.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheabrasionresistanceofleatherusingtherotaryplatform,double-headtester(RPDH).Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
